My sister-in-law, Jana, and my niece, Morgan, traveled with me to San Fran for a conference. We've had a fun time sight seeing and watching these two little ones interact.
Silly Melanie...the Golden Gate bridge isn't named Golden Gate because it's golden! It's named that because San Fransisco was built as a major port to receive people coming around the bottom of South America in the mid 1800's, who were coming to mine gold. Y'know, the 49ers? and eventually the bridge stood as a "gate" to the city, a pivotal city in the "Golden State" of California. *sheesh*. :) love ya!
I do think it is way cool that you went there, though. ;)
