Maine, Part 1

The airplane ride went really well. There were two small rough spots when we were stuck loading and unloading the plane, but otherwise Winston did really, really well. Thanks to the treats and new toys and Grandpa, that's for sure. The hardest part of the trip thus far has been bed time--Winson's usually used to his own crib in his very own room...not a strange crib in a room where he can still see everyone...poor guy (and poor us).

Here's the highlights from our first day in Maine.

There were many un-touched shells everywhere, but we only touched and took photos  (state parks always have the leave-here-for-others-to-enjoy motto...although there were people there collecting clams(?) in buckets)

Osprey nest--did you know Osprey's wingspan gets  5-6 feet? Too bad the birds are migrating to South America now...

The awesomest looking animals ever! Aren't their heads hilarious? Alpaca farm in Freeport.

Babies are always so cute.

The bell-bottoms are the best--these animals seriously are my new favorite.
