All in Six Years

Six years ago to the day, on a hot and sunny Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, Sam and I were married and sealed for eternity.

In six short years we have:

• Held a combined total of 16 different odd-end, get-us-through-school-and-on-our-feet jobs, and formed 2 solid careers.
• Celebrated our 4 college graduations.
• Moved 7 times in 5 cities and 2 states.
• Lived apart for 3 semesters.
• Purchased a home, and gutted it in order to revitalize and make it ours.
• Traveled to Las Vegas (twice), Moab, St. George, Fresno, Chicago, NYC (one and a half times) and Maine.
• Owned 3 cars.
• Paid off over $37,000 in student, car, and home loans.
• Went through collar bone surgery, a gum graph, and a pregnancy.
• Became parents, and celebrated our baby's second birthday.

It's been a great first six years, and I'm excited for the adventures awaiting us in the next six years (and beyond).
